We were thrilled when the Equal Justice Society asked us to create the design and branding for their fall gala. This year EJS honored the work of Harriet Tubman and the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage. Bassist, composer, and educator Marcus Shelby performed pieces from his gorgeous suite inspired by Tubman’s extraordinary life and courage. By combining historic imagery with flat color and clean typography, we delivered a bold and vibrant design that reflected the energy and joy of the celebration.
