Located at Stanford University, the Cantor Art Museum hosts its biennial gala in the Rodin Sculpture Garden, named for its significant collection of the artist’s bronzes. With no need to gild the lily, our invitation and accompanying materials grounded the event in a sense of place. First borrowing Rodin’s exquisite line drawing from the museum’s archives for the cover, we then used pared down typography, evocative panels of twilight blue, and a silver sliver of the moon to convey the elegance of this party under the stars.
